History does repeat itself.

Almost 1 and I'm still awake for financial lit. Technically I could have slept an hour ago. Just staying online to give the rest moral support haha. I'm so gonna be walking aorund like an undead zombie tomorrow. And I think I'll have to live with these dark ring around my eyes forever. Ah well. At least it makes me look more like L :D

6 hours till I wake up.

Just realised I did waaaay more paper leaves than was needed. Ah well. It was kinda fun doing them :D And I really don't feel like going to sleep now. Even though I think I'll need it. I'm pretty sure I'll have an almost sleepless night the night before the final FL presentation. But heck it. I JUST GOT TO THE INTERESTING PART IN ONE PIECE MANGA :D Not gonna kill the momentum now. Finally hit 300 chapters yeaaaaaa. 300+ more to go.

I should really get started on writing out my LA essay.

But it's raining heavily outside. Such a dark and gloomy atmosphere. Perfect for drawing some manga :D Ah well guess there's always tomorrow for the essay. Can't possibly take that long to write right?

The green power of will

Well the holidays are coming to an end... didn't blog for the past week cuz i didn't feel like sitting down and typing out stuff. (actually i did sit down and type out my LA essay but now I have to sit down and write it out too AAAAAARGH. gonna do that after lunch)

Went to the library on sunday, and borrowed a HELL lot books. I seriously think my bag's is gonna give way soon. Anyway, half the books i borrowed were comics hehe. I borrowed lotsa green lantern books, its almost the whole storyline up till the black lantern part, with a few missing gaps in between due to volumes that I coud not find at BM library :( But yea, the whole GL storyline is AWESOME :D On the last book now, the one focusing on the black lanterns. Think I'll be able to finish it by tomorrow. Then I'll go hunt down some more of the latest volumes.

Had the surgery for my braces on tuesday. Well, the whole surgery was like 2 hours, ended around 5. Even though there was anasthesia, it was still quite uncomfortable (because you gotta keep your mouth WIDE open for two hours while they poke stuff in it). And still slightly painful. Then I went to my orthodontist to get the "power chains" put in. And that hurt quite a bit, because the anesthesia was starting to wear off. Then I had to wait for the medicine and all, and that's when it began hurting like HELL. Seriously, I think my pain threshold has been brought to a whole new level just because of tuesday. Then it was raining so I couldn't walk home, and no cabs came so my mom had to call one. And it arrived after 15 mins -.- And I was in undescribable pain the whole time. But I've got to say, I'm pretty proud of myself, for having endured that so well :D

Then when I went home and took the painkillers (finally), I tried to take the gauze out of my mouth, and what do you know, it was stuck in my braces -.- As in seriously stuck, and I didn't want to risk pulling it out by force cuz it was at the area that was just stitched up. So I went back, luckily the surgeon was still there even though it was past working hours, and he managed to cut off most of the gauze, only leaving a bit of the stuck part there. And yea that small bit came out over the next few days. Once I finally reached home again, I felt seriously tired. Never felt that drained before. But after lying down in bed and reading GL for about 30 mins I felt like I was back to normal, energy levels at maxium :D Never underestimate the healing power of good comics. Still chewing on one side of my mouth now, hopefully I can eat normally by next week.

I have really gotta do something about the VIP pulse. Mr Ng sorta trusted me with the responsibility to take charge of it, I can't just leave it and not do anything. I'm supposed to dicuss with the rest, but finding a time everyone is free could be hard, and I doubt they'd be that interested to discuss stuff anyway. And it's also a bit too late to start planning anything for april's fools. Sigh. Guess I'll jsut try to start on creating a tumblr and thinking of other events to organise. Gotta think of some unique identity thing too. Hopefully I get that brain-blast soon.

And as expected, the Japan trip was cancelled. But now we can choose from switzerland, finland, india, sydney or sweden. After comparing and looking throughthe details of each of them, I think sweden would be the best. It was my second choice after japan after all. But there's only 2 spots for it :/ But I'll say this, I'LL MAKE SURE I GET ONE OF THOSE SPOTS. YEAAAA BABY :D

Whoa.

I sill can't believe Japan got hit by an earthquake and tsunami. These once-in-a-while devasting disasters are just crazy. And scary. Looks like there's a LOT of damage. Really hope they recover from this fast, without any problems :/ Everytime I read my manga now I can't help but think of Japan. So much for spamming One Piece over the hols. But on the bright side, Kishimoto, Kubo and all other major manga producers are safe :)

Reaaaally wonder if I'll stilll be going to Japan in june.

So it ends. So it begins.

Just felt like using that awesome quote from Vampirates :D RTs finished yesterday WOOOHOOO! Finally free to slack. Not gonna think about work for today and tomorrow.

Went to tampines mall after school with the rest yesterday with the intention of buying the $1 burger at burger king, but the queue was too long ( I failed to take into consideration that we are living in singapore in my calculation of how crowded it would be). Ended up going to the hawker centre to eat instead. Watched I Am Number Four after that, it was pretty decent. Went to miss chua's house after that, which was super hard to find. Talked, slacked, and left around 7.30. Went home and caught up on all the anime and manga I missed. Feels good to be free once again.

Cross country today. Didn't do that bad relatively, but I could have pushed myself more :/ Met up with sunda, keith, darren and derrick today. Feels really good to meet up with all of them again. First time ever since I left vs that I met all of them together. They may have grown taller, or sideways too, but they're still the same as they were 2 years ago :D Went to KFC to eat, and we nearly died laughing talking about keith's family tree and the stuff they're gonna do for victorian challenge. GREENHOUSE AD KITE SUPPORTED BY BALLOONS HAHA. I have never laughed so much in my life. Laughed till my stomach hurt a lot, and till I nearly choked on and spat out my pepsi. Had to go for a stupid tl debate today that lasted pretty long, but I guesss today was still good :D

The sad thing about life is that it's always about the present. Happy moments of the past would just remain as happy memories, nothing more. Even looking forward to something in the future, after it passes, it's all just in the past. There's no going back to the happy times in the past. Things change. People change. Guess that's one thing we have to live with.

I've studied as much as I can, and honestl, I dont feel stressed. At all. Just feel like these are jsut some minor tests. Which they probably are. Ah well I still can't wait to get them over with so I can slack guilt-free. It's not gonna be like post-EOYs though, still got a lot of stuff to do. But at least I can take a reaaal short break during the march hols and do all the things I need to do. Like read one piece, practise on my guitar, get back to playing fiesta, cloudnine, blackshot, rewatch death note in preparation for the movie that seems to be in the making, get back to drawing, and start on d-gray man. Only one week to do all that, plus homework.
