Halloween

It's kinda sad that Halloween isn't really celebrated here. It should be, it's one of the coolest festivals I know of. But it seems like slowly more and more people here are beginning to celebrate it. Next year, I am definitely gonna walk around Singapore in some costume. It's the one day of the year when you can do that without getting arrested.

Ok maybe I'm not that busy ._.

Just finished the symposium invite, and if everythign goes well, it will be accepted :D And my bro sorta helped me with most of my webfolio, so thats done too :D Got back some results already, and well, I guess they are quite good. But even better than that, MY GUITAR SKILLS ARE IMPROVING OH YEA!!!! Three weeks ago when I first got my guitar I was just making noise with it. Now I can actually hear some tunes coming out of it :D Guess practice does make perfect. Ok, back to watching one piece now. I still haven't figured out how zorro attacks with that sword in his mouth -.-"

Busy.

Well I'm not busy in the homework and projects way, but somehow I still got a lot to do. Got to get the symposium invite done by next week, gotta do the webfolio I haven't really started on by the following week and prepare for the symposium. On top of that I gotta make time everyday to practise on my guitar, draw my manga, watch some eps of one piece, play some com and keep up with the latest anime and manga. 24 hours just is'nt enough each day.

Reaaaaally bored.

Stupid fever. Now I'm stuck at home. I'm almost done with the first page of my manga, practised on the guitar for a while, and I still feel half dead. Hopefully I'll recover after my afternoon nap. Afternoon naps are good. Anything can be cured after a good afternoon nap :D

Bought my guitar today :D And I think I got a really good price for it too. Spent about 2hrs on it today practising basic strumming. I guess I'm getting along ok, but I really need to work on my finger strength. Currently since I can't hold the pick THAT hard, it slips out of my hand after 4-5 sets of strumming :/ Oh well. Guess practice makes perfect. This weekend turned out to be quite good too, one of the friends I thought I'd completely lose touch with actually talked to me again. AND I finished half a page of my new manga :D I think post-EOYs is gonna get better and better.

Oh yea I've more or less finished this character, all that's left is maybe some minor adjustments, but overall he looks AWESOME :D Below are two slightly different versions of him. Still can't think of a good name for him :/

Inspiration unleashed

OH YEA THE CHARACTER IM SKETCHING FOR MY NEW MANGA LOOKS AWESOME :D It looks so awesome now, I really hope I don't screw it up while completing it. This is by far the best character I've come up with. Gotta think of a name for him.

ITS OVER :D

After what seemed like a long, tiring, and endless journey, the day I thought would never come is finally here. ITS PARTY TIME OH YEA!!! Spent 1 hour sorting out pokemon cards for my deck for tomorrow, spent about two hours catching up on all the naruto and bleach I missed, and now I'm sketching characters for my new manga. I feel alive again :D

Almost there.

Three more days till complete freedom. Somehow I'm sure it's gonna gonna drag on like hell. I can't wait for it to end, I've got so many ideas for my new manga. I've already pictured exacly how I want the first few pages to be. Just three more days. And I'll be reunited with my sketchbook.

Children's day

Wow it's children's day today. And not celebrating it shows we're not kids anymore. Kinda sad that we don't celebrate it anymore, and it's even sadder that we have EOYS on the same day -.- I guess we really do grow up quickly. Before I know it I'll be in JC2 taking my A levels, going for NS after that, and eventually going into the not-so-carefree adult world. Sigh. Gotta enjoy childhood while I can. If this still counts as childhood that is.
